And then, you go to Dongbaekseom Island. Dongbaekseom Island is easy to navigate thanks to the walking path that is built around it. The island has several attractions, including the monument inscribed with a poem of scholar Choi Chi-won, the mermaid statue based on the legend of Princess Hwagok, and the Nurimaru APEC House which means an APEC conference hall. It is noted for its beautiful, natural landscape accented by dense camellia and pine trees. Nurimaru APEC House has been used as a memorial hall and a prestigious international conference hall since the APEC summit meeting. Here is one historically rich mountainside cultural quarter.
You will head to Gamcheon Culture Village. Gamcheon Culture Village was originally settled by refugees during the Korean War. You will see tiny hillside homes and nifty collection of clever decorative pieces installed by art students. After that, you will have lunch. Your guide will take you to local restaurant.
Next you will go to Busan Tower, one of the most famous landmarks in Busan. You can see almost the entire metropolis as you walk around the top deck. You will find yourself surprised at the view of Busan Tower as you exit the tower. Busan Tower offers a 360 degree view of Busan.
Here is another market in Busan which was set up by refugees who fled to Busan to make a living after the Korean War. You will see each alleyway crowded with stalls and connect to Kkangtong Market. You can find almost everything you need right here. Maybe you could think it is similar to Namdaemun Market in Seoul, but Gukje Market has more goods ranging from hanbok, home appliances and food. Also it provides a warm and lively atmosphere to visitors. Around Gukje Market, there is Bupyeong Kkangtong Market where you can have tons of various type of Korean food. Also, the prices are not expensive.
Are you interested in Busan’s modern district? Then hit BIFF Square. There are events such as hand printing of movie celebrities and Nunggot Jeomdeung(snow- flower lighting).
Busan is biggest seaport city, providing the best seafood. Jagalchi market is the most famous seafood market in all of Korea. You can see every seller yelling their products.
